As 2024 comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being part of the School Psych AI community.
Whether you’re a seasoned user or just starting out, your feedback, trust, and support have been invaluable.
This year has been all about growth, learning, and refining. We rolled out new tools, improved existing features, and heard your feedback loud and clear. From addressing bugs to reducing hallucinations in AI responses, we’ve been hard at work ensuring the platform runs smoothly and reliably for you. And as we head into 2025, we’re doubling down on that commitment—making the platform more stable and delivering an even better experience.
Highlights for the New Year
Strengthened FERPA Compliance: Your trust matters deeply to us. In 2025, we’re enhancing our adherence to FERPA guidelines to ensure your data remains safe, secure, and confidential. Stay tuned for a MAJOR announcement.Â
Improved Functionality: Top priorities are reducing errors and ensuring accurate, actionable responses. You’ll see more updates to make your work easier, less time-consuming, and more functional.
AI Literacy Focus: In 2025, we’ll provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities throughout the year. This includes custom PDs tailored for your school, district, association, or organization. Our goal is to help our community become informed and critical consumers of AI and to use this technology responsibly and effectively in their practice.
A Big Announcement
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be presenting (along with the School Psych AI team) at the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Annual Convention in Seattle, Washington, this February 2025! We also will have a booth again this year.
Here’s where you can find me presenting:
Utilizing Artificial Intelligence as a Catalyst for Building Practitioner Capacity: Scheduled for Tuesday, February 18th, at 10:00 a.m. This session runs for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Using Artificial Intelligence as a Catalyst for Strength-Based Psychological Evaluations: Scheduled for Thursday, February 20th, from noon to 1:50 p.m.
These sessions will explore how AI can be a practical tool to enhance your practice, build capacity, and shift toward strength-based evaluations. I’d love to see you there!
